Modernization of industry of Republic of Belarus: goals, achievements, challenges
Abstract
Статья посвящена исследованию эффективности использования инвестиций в модернизации белорусской промышленности. На основе анализа динамики, направлений и итогов инновационной деятельности, направленной на преобразование производственной базы промышленности, установлено, что достигнутые экономические результаты модернизации не соответствуют поставленным целям. Выявлены причины сложившейся ситуации и обоснованы предложения по совершенствованию существующей практики осуществления модернизации.

The article investigates the effectiveness of the use of investments in the modernization of Belarusian industry. Based on the analysis of the dynamics, trends and outcomes of the innovative activities aimed at transforming the manufacturing industry base, it is found that the achieved economic modernization results do not meet the set goals. The causes of this situation are given and proposals for improving the existing practice of the modernization are justified.
