Abstract
Development of national innovation system (NIS) - is an essential element of economic growth for the country and necessary condition for the withdrawal of the country to the world market. An important condition for the effective functioning of the economic system of the country is to find models of innovation development of economy, creation
of favorable conditions for innovation in the country. The article includes the developed set of measures to improve and reform the national innovation system of the Republic of Belarus based on the analysis of the identified main problems in the national innovation system.
