Abstract
В 2020 г. была осуществлена научно-проектная работа в рамках подготовки к 100- летию БНТУ, которая вызвала необходимость краткого обобщения всемирно-исторического и отечественного опыта соединения архитектуры и пластики, а также архивных исследований по конкретному объекту. Данная статья излагает основные этапы данной работы.

One of the ancient traditions of architecture was its synthesis with sculpture. Monumental and decorative forms became an integral part of architectural forms in Antique Greece and Rome. This tradition prolonged during Soviet period of Belarus history. One of the bright examples of such work was architectural complex of Polytechnic Institute. Following this tradition we designed and realized sculpture composition “Students” on BNTU territory.
