Abstract
В статье вводится понятие высококомфортного жилища в качестве особого объекта архитектурного проектирования. Дается его трактовка, анализируются области его различия с массовым жилищем, его основные архитектурно-пространственные характеристики. Отдельное внимание уделяется социальной роли высококомфортного жилища и современному состоянию вопроса его проектирования в Беларуси.

The article introduces the concept of high-comfort housing and emphasizes it as the special sub]ect of architectural design. High-comfort housing is interpreted in correlation with its users structure; the article draws the fields of the concept’s distinction with the mass housing, shows up its main architectural characteristics. Special attention is paid to the social role of high- comfort housing and to the present situation with the high-comfort housing design in Belarus.
