В статье рассматривается новое для Беларуси направление в архитектуре, урбанизме, дизайне – универсальный дизайн, который в совокупности с разумным приспособлением и развитием социальных сервисов, способствует нивелированию ограничений жизнедеятельности у лиц с особенностями функционирования для расширения рамок их независимости.

The paper presents the new direction for Belarus in architecture, urbanism, design – Universal Design. Universal design coupled with the reasonable adaptation and with the development of social services contribute to leveling restrictions of vital activity in individuals with features of functioning to enhance the scope of their independence.
