Abstract
The article explores innovative approaches to education for foreign students in technical universities, including the creation of a Digital educational platform in Russian. The methodology for adapting students, ways to attract users and the structure features of the platform developed by the National Research University «Moscow Power Engineering Institute» with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation are described. Attention to trends in the development of such platforms and their role in the popularization of the Russian language abroad is paid.
