Abstract
В настоящей работе проведен анализ структурно-функциональной трансформации центральной части г. Гомеля за последние три десятилетия. Анализ динамики освоения данной территории с выявлением распределения и концентрации элементов позволяет определить границы ядра центра, узлы градостроительной структуры, изменение их границ и характера функционального использования, а также прогнозировать некоторые направления развития города.

In this paper, an analysis of the structural and functional transformation of the central part of Gomel over the past three decades has been carried out. The analysis of the dynamics of the development of this territory with the identification of the distribution and concentration of elements makes it possible to determine the edges of the core of the center, nodes of the urban planning structure, changes in their boundaries and the nature of functional use, as well as to predict some directions of the city's development.
