Abstract

One of their topical art criticism problems is the problem of studying the meaning of red in Chinese and European art. The author of the article made an attempt to identify the origins of red in Chinese art based on the fact that the meanings that a particular color carries are rooted far in antiquity, and even its modern perception depends on the previous historical and cultural development of society.
