Abstract
Автором статьи проведен анализ сферы и границ использования понятия «место», а также истоки становления научного интереса к данному теоретическому концепту. Само понятие «место» рассматривается как сложный междисциплинарный концепт, дающий широкие возможности для понимания связей человека и мира.

The main subject of this paper is notion «place», which is wildly used in scientific literature of Western Europe and America (especially in papers of human geography, anthropology, architectural phenomenology). But it only becomes popular in Belarusian architectural theory. Author of the article explores field and limits of this term’s use.
