Assessment of ranges of possible change of temporary resistance of cast iron with lamellar and flaked graphite on their hardness
Abstract
Проведен анализ диапазонов возможного изменения временного сопротивления σВ отливок из ковкого и серого чугунов. Разработано аналитическое описание диапазонов изменения σВ в зависимости от твердости НВ отливки. Показано, что широкий по сравнению со сталью диапазон изменения σВ чугунных отливок с измеренной твердостью НВ обусловлен вариацией форм и размеров графитовых включений у рассмотренных классов чугунов и влиянием толщины стенки отливки из серого чугуна на зависимость σВ (НВ). Результат предназначен для определения гарантированной величины σВ отливки без ее разрушения в случаях, когда нет информации о σВ образцов-свидетелей.

The analysis of ranges of possible change of temporary resistance of σB of castings from ductile and gray cast iron is carried out. The analytical description of ranges of change of σВ depending on casting BH hardness is developed. It is shown that the range of change of σВ of pig-iron castings, wider in comparison with steel, with the measured hardness of BH is caused variations
of forms and the amount of graphite inclusions at the considered classes of cast iron and influence of thickness of a wall of casting from gray cast iron on dependence of σВ (HB). The result is intended for determination of the guaranteed casting size σВ without
her destruction, when there is no information on σВ of check test pieces.
