Abstract
Present article concerns research about the former jewish house of prayer In Kolno. The study showed that the object is so-called Talmudic House (Bet
Midrasz) and was incorrectly associated with the synagogue project of Henryk Marconi form 1847. The study was also an attempt to reconstruct the original architectural form of the synagogue In Kolno and analysis of problems related to its post-war adaptation to new functions.
