The lowest spectrum of free vibrations of non-circular cylindrical shell subjected to the axial static loads is investigated. The vibration is supposed to be localized near the certain generatrix, called the weakest. The frequencies and mode shapes for vibrations have been found by using the asymptotic expansions.
