Abstract
The article presents the essence of the use of rheological models in the study of technological processes in the interaction of earthmoving and road construction machines with the external environment. Depending on the type of cyclic technological operations performed in practice, models are given that study the physical nature of the process of contact between the working bodies of such machines and the soil.
