Abstract

The Belt and Road Initiative provides a new path for international regional economic cooperation, and China's direct investment in countries along the Belt and Road continues to expand, but the regions along the Belt and Road cover multiple geopolitical fracture zones and "turbulent arcs", superimposed on complex factors such as major power strategic games, regional protectionism, and ethnic and religious contradictions, and geopolitical risks have become the core obstacles to the smooth progress of major projects.
