Роль переводчика как культурного посредника в диалоге между Республикой Беларусь и Китайской Народной Республикой

Abstract

The article analyses the role of interpreters as cultural mediators in the process of communication between two countries: Belarus and China. Human behaviour is deeply rooted in culturally shaped mindset based on traditions and customs. Therefore, it is essential to highlight the significance of interpreters, who not only translate messages from one language to another, but also facilitate the process of a negotiation developing mutual understanding thanks to a strong foundation in intercultural competence and business ethics.
