Abstract

Foreign trade cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China demonstrates sustained positive momentum and is acquiring strategic importance in the context of the emerging new centers of economic influence. The article analyzes the current quantitative and structural parameters of trade turnover, identifies key challenges, and defines promising development directions. Particular attention is paid to the impact of Belarus's status as an observer state in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on the expansion of trade and investment ties. It is argued that deepening integration within SCO frameworks, alongside export diversification and the implementation of infrastructure projects, constitutes a priority avenue for fostering long-term and high-quality bilateral economic partnership.
