Abstract
The rapid growth of solar photovoltaics has highlighted the need for effective strategies that maximize energy yield, improve reliability, and reduce lifecycle costs. This paper presents an integrated approach to solar power optimization that combines modelling, system design, and control techniques. Key areas addressed include module orientation and tracking, mitigation of soiling and shading losses, and the application of predictive algorithms for maximum power point tracking under variable irradiance. The study also explores techno-economic optimization through the coupling of solar generation with energy storage, enabling improved dispatchability and grid stability. The proposed framework provides a foundation for enhancing solar system performance and supports large-scale integration of renewable energy into modern power networks.
