Abstract
This article examines the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in supply chain optimization in Iran's oil and gas industry. Today, AI technologies help predict demand, manage inventory and transportation, improve productivity, and reduce time costs. Hence, AI implementation faces challenges such as lack of technical expertise, high costs, and integration issues. The use of artificial intelligence increases the efficiency of decision- making, reduces environmental effects and reduces greenhouse gas emissions. Artificial intelligence-based process optimization leads to effective resource management, and in the long run, artificial intelligence will be a key factor in the sustainability and success of the oil and gas industry.
