Abstract
To improve the harvesting efficiency of soybean headers and reduce loss rates, this study focuses on the structural design and simulation analysis of the reel. First, the working principle of the reel is analyzed, followed by model creation using 3D software. Subsequently, the model is simplified and subjected to kinematic analysis in ADAMS, showing that when the reel radius R = 500mm, the recommended reel-to-forward speed ratio is between 1.2–1.6, with an optimal reel rotational speed range of 28–45 r/min.
