Industrial districts for the perspective: belarussian experience
Abstract
В советский период в БССР было сформировано 52 промышленных узла, при этом подходы при их проектировании в целом совпадали с практикой СССР, однако имели свои характерные особенности. Намеренная формализация проектных решений промышленных узлов в советское время стала одной из особенностей белорусской практики проектирования и строительства промышленных узлов, что позволило разрабатывать в большом количестве их экспериментальные перспективные схемы генеральных планов. На то время это дало возможность поиска различных вариантов и совершенствования планировочной организации промышленных узлов. Анализ опыта их формирования и результатов строительства даст возможность в будущем выработать стратегию и возможные пути реорганизации и трансформации таких промышленных образований.

During the Soviet period, 52 industrial districts were formed in the BSSR, while the approaches to their design generally coincided with the practice of the USSR, but had their own characteristic features. One of the features of the Belarusian practice of designing and constructing industrial districts was the deliberate formalization in design, which made it possible during the Soviet period to develop a large number of experimental long-term master plans for industrial districts. At that time, this made it possible to search for options and improve the planning organization of industrial districts. Analysis of the experience of their formation and construction results will make it possible in the future to develop a strategy and possible ways of reorganization and transformation of such industrial formations.
