Abstract
The article is devoted to a problem of interaction of higher education institutions with business community for ensuring quality of the higher education in Georgia. Nowadays the level of development of partnership of business with education cannot be considered sufficient. Mechanisms of influence of the requirements of the labor market for training the specialists in the higher education institutions are not formed sufficiently. It’s necessary existence of more intensive communication between employers and universities on higher education, which would promote better awareness of the needs of employers in the preparation of graduate and give universities more realistic benchmarks for assessing the quality of their work and understand the prospects of its development. Particular emphasis should be stressed on the implementation of competence-based approach and the corresponding adjustment of the educational process, which is implemented in the world's universities in the framework of innovative education of the XXI century.
