Abstract
В статье рассмотрены вопросы, связанные с условиями деятельности малого и среднего бизнеса в Республике Беларусь, проведен анализ данного сегмента экономики и дана оценка вклада в экономику страны. Проанализированы институциональная среды и инструменты государственной поддержки предпринимательства, рассмотрены причины, сдерживающие рост этого сегмента и ограничивающие его вклад в ВВП страны. Предложены возможные пути повышения эффективности развития малого и среднего бизнеса в Республике Беларусь.

The article deals with issues related to the conditions for the activities of small and medium-sized businesses in the Republic of Belarus, analyzes this segment of the economy and assesses the contribution to the country's economy. The institutional environment and instruments of state support for entrepreneurship are analyzed, the reasons hindering the growth of this segment and limiting its contribution to the country's GDP are considered. Possible ways to increase the effective development of small and medium-sized businesses in the Republic of Belarus are proposed.
