Abstract
The structure and properties of tool materials, subjected of the thermo-hydrochemical treatment, are examined in the paper. The process involves the chemical treatment in an special aqueous suspension of nano-sized oxides and subsequent heat treatment.
Treatment with optimal regime permits decreasing the friction coefficient of the hard alloy and steel surface in 3.8 – 8.3 as compared with untreated. Developed technology permit increasing the wear resistance of cutting and stamp tools by the factor of 1.3 – 4.5 in comparison with traditional its.
