Abstract
Некоторые источники указывают, что кафедра архитектуры Белорусского политехнического института (сейчас – Белорусский национальный технический университет) создана в 1946 г. [1, с. 14, 18; 2]. Изучение архивных материалов показало, что кафедра архитектуры была в начале 1920-х г. и постоянно работала с начала 1930-х гг.

Some sources indicate that the Department of Architecture of the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute (now – Belarusian National Technical University) was created in 1946 [1, р. 14, 18; 2]. The study of archival materials showed that the Department of Architecture existed in the early 1920s and has been working continuously since the early 1930s.
