The influence of ultrasonic vibration frequency and power level of DENT-35 apparatus on the strength of glass ionomer cements (GIC) has been analyzed. The strength of standard GIC samples increased when using frequencies of 22, 25, 28, 31 kHz. The increase in the resistance index compared to unsound cements was at least 20 %.
