Methodology for historical and architectural research of modernism objects (based on the example of museums built in the BSSR in the 1960-80s)
Abstract
В статье предлагается метод исследования архитектурных построек, включающий выявление задач проекта, а также концепций и приемов их реализации. Импликация метода на примере зданий, специально построенных для музеев в БССР в 60-80-х гг. ХХ века, позволила сделать вывод, что для оценки художественной и культурно-исторической значимости объекта наиболее важным является определение концепции его архитектурной организации. Однако эта концепция, как правило, крайне редко фиксируется в специализированной архитектурной печати, и установить ее можно только опросив участников процесса создания объекта.

The article proposes a method for studying architectural buildings, including identifying project objectives, as well as concepts and techniques for their implementation. Implication of the method using the example of buildings specially built for museums in the BSSR in the 60-80s. twentieth century, allowed us to conclude that to assess the artistic, cultural and historical significance of an object, the most important thing is to determine the concept of its architectural organization. However, this concept, as a rule, is extremely rarely recorded in specialized architectural print, and it can only be established by interviewing participants in the process of creating an object.
