Abstract
Современная деятельность по реконструкции жилых домов на юге Ливана, обеспечивает значительное повышение комфорта проживания. Иногда используются проекты, заимствованные из архитектурной практики других стран, что содействует обогащению стилистического разнообразия жилой застройки. Но основным направлением реконструкции остается применение традиционных композиционных решений, которые обеспечивают стилистическое единство застройки и сохранение традиций местной архитектуры.

The modern renovation activities of residential buildings in southern Lebanon provide a significant increase in living comfort. Sometimes projects borrowed from the architectural practice of other countries are used, which contributes to the enrichment of the stylistic diversity of residential buildings. But the main direction of reconstruction remains the use of traditional compositional solutions that ensure the stylistic unity of the building and the preservation of the traditions of local architecture.
