Abstract
В статье рассматриваются возможности повышения уровня производства и потребления электроэнергии в Российской Федерации. При этом делается акцент на вопросы, связанные с переходом энергетической отрасли на новую интеллектуальную и автоматизированную технологическую базу. Развитие технологий невозможно в условиях сохранения текущей структуры рынка энергопотребления. Основные изменения элементов структуры рынка энергопотребления будет сопровождаться резким скачком спроса в условиях экологического и ресурсного кризиса, для удовлетворения которого требуется высокий уровень развития технологий альтернативных источников энергии.

The article discusses the possibilities of increasing the level of production and consumption of electricity in the Russian Federation. At the same time, emphasis is placed on issues related to the transition of the energy industry to a new intellectual and automated technological base. The development of technologies is impossible in the conditions of maintaining the current structure of the energy consumption market. The main changes in the elements of the structure of the energy consumption market will be accompanied by a sharp increase in demand in the context of an environmental and resource crisis, which requires a high level of development of technologies for alternative energy sources.
