Fatigue fracture of asphalt concrete
Abstract
В статье рассмотрены понятия и принципы теории усталостного разрушения применительно к дорожно-строительным материалам при условии учета в их составе включений различной величины, формы и ориентации. Это позволяет значительно повысить достоверность результатов обработки испытаний. Определен механизм разрушения и критерий повреждаемости асфальтобетона при жестком режиме испытания, основанный на анализе соотношения упругой и пластической деформаций по мере возрастания количества циклов нагружения.
The concepts and principles of the theory of failure due to fatigue have been considered in this article with reference to road-building materials, provided that the inclusions of various size, shape and orientation have been taken into account. This allows improving consider-ably the reliability of the test outcomes. The failure mechanism and damage criterion of asphalt concrete has been determined under severe test conditions and based on the analysis of elastic-plastic strain relationship depending on the increasing number of load cycles.
