Abstract
А various features of conducting practical lessons in mathematics at the university are discussed. A special role of the independent student work is emphasized. A different approach of control of the independent student work during the fulfdment of their homework is offered. It is proposed also to use information technologies during the practical trainings, as well as select effective methods in teaching of mathematics.
