Abstract

The functionalization of electroplated coatings is the actual direction of research in the field of electrochemical materials. Composite electrochemical coatings are material with wide range of functional properties achieved by the introduction of various components into the structure of electrochemical coatings. Antibacterial and self-cleaning properties are required for metal objects such as door handles, turnstiles, handrails, buttons, etc., which are in daily contact with a large number of people. The most promising material for metal coatings with such properties is a tin-nickel alloy, which contains titanium dioxide.
