Abstract

With the initiation of “Silk Road”, the invention and development of papermaking, along with the advancement of other handcrafts art have largely facilitated China’s economy, culture and art in the Han Dynasty. The rich array of animal images is particularly prominent in the various forms of visual art in the Han Dynasty, which not only reflects the development of animal-themed art but also conveys the cultural connotation and artistic concept in that era.
