The hexagonal grid integration into the city planning structure
Abstract
В статье излагается метод анализа планировочной структуры крупнейшего города Минска с использованием гексагональных сеток, величина ячеек которых соответствует радиусам пространственной доступности объектов повседневного, периодического и эпизодического пользования. Такой подход позволяет наглядно продемонстрировать взаимосвязь планировочной организации города с универсальной гексагональной структурой, лежащей в основе сети населенных мест.

The article presents a method for analyzing the planning structure of the largest city of Minsk using hexagonal grids, the size of the cells of which corresponds to the spatial accessibility ranges of daily, periodic and episodic use of the objects. This approach allows us to clearly demonstrate the relationship between the planning organization of the city and the universal hexagonal structure of populated areas.
