Компоновка автопоездов должна обеспечивать необходимую грузоподъемность кузовов при допустимой их полной массе. Для этого сокращают расстояние между тягачом и прицепом за счет применения укороченных тяговосцепных устройств

The layout of road trains should provide the necessary load capacity of the bodies at their permissible full weight. To do this, reduce the distance between the tractor and the target by using shortened traction de-vices; reduce the length of the cabin when transferring sleeping places to the setting above the cabin; use low-frame chains; install low-profile tires; use semi-trailers with a stepped floor.
