Research on innovation path of building materials based on the concept of circular economy

Abstract

With the popularization of the circular economy concept, the building materials industry has put forward new requirements for material innovation. The recycling of building materials, life cycle assessment, waste resource utilization, and green design are key to promoting the sustainable development of the building materials industry. This paper, based on an overview of the circular economy theory and its current application in the building materials industry, analyzes the practices and challenges of building material recycling, explores the theme of green building design and ecological innovation of building materials, and proposes transformation strategies to promote the sustainable development of the building materials industry.
