Abstract

Located in the center of Europe, Belarus’s urban waterfront parks are primarily distributed along the Neman, Svislach, and Western Dvina rivers, bearing witness to periods of prosperity during the Grand Duchy era, the transformations of the Imperial Russian and Soviet periods, and the urban renewal and public space revitalization following independence. These waterfront parks not only serve ecological and recreational functions but also carry national memory and cultural diversity, making them an essential part of urban life. Today, they provide residents with a rich and harmonious living environment, fully demonstrating Belarus’s achievements in urban planning and ecological management.
