The concept of numbers originated from the ancient peoples' need to observe and measure the objective world, possessing rich cultural connotations. Manifested through Russian linguistic symbols, numbers appear in the daily life and linguistic practices of the Russian people, reflecting to some extent the aesthetic characteristics, religious beliefs, and customs of the Russian nation. This paper commences with an etymological examination of the Russian numerals 1, 3, 7, 13 and 40, enumerating linguistic units in Russian that embody the cultural element of numbers, and analyzing the cultural connotations they carry.ru
