This paper proposes a flexible microstrip patch antenna for WBAN applications in the WiMAX 5.8 GHz band. The antenna is assembled on a flexible Rogers RO 4350 substrate. This makes it good for wearable and conformal systems. The antenna has a notch structure and parasitic patches placed around the main radiating element to improve radiation efficiency and impedance bandwidth. These changes helps to control the distribution of surface current, lower return loss, and expand the usable frequency band while keeping the size small. The simulated and equivalent circuit result are compared. a stable gain, and good reflection coefficient of -28.07 dB & simulated 1.05 GHz bandwidth at 5.8 GHz resonant frequency, which makes it reliable for users in WiMAX applications for non-medical WBAN environments.ru
