dc.description.abstractIn this paper, operation of twelve pulse rectifier transformer with interphase transformer is presented and simulated implemented 12-pulse IGBT rectifier system. A 35k A, 450 V rectifier transformer is analysed and investigated focusing on performance and harmonic analysis of power converter system. This design results tends to reduce of harmonics of utility line current. Power transformers are mainly used in heavy industries such as mining industries. They are also used in refineries in this industry. This design aims to solve problems when dealing with rectifiers which require very large amount of current up to many kilo-amperes. There are a lot of power loses involved in these power rectifier transformers and the main cause being harmonics but using a multi pulse rectifier with an interphase transformer provides a better solution to eliminate harmonics and improves the efficiency of the system.ru
