Abstract

The most effective ways for self-service stores are to install video surveillance systems in the sales area, utility rooms and warehouses, install anti-theft frames and tags on the goods. The control of cash transactions allows you to prevent violations or effectively conduct investigations. The system is based on combining information coming from the cash reg-ister about transactions and video images from the camera aimed at the cash node. The function is available in special software running on the video server of the video surveillance system. Transactions and service information are en-tered into a special database, providing a transaction search for effective investigation and informing the operator about suspicious and alarming situations.
