The development of Belarusian-Chinese cooperation in the humanitarian field is increasingly evident through university collaborations. Belarusian State University (BSU) engages with 30 Chinese institutions, including prestigious universities like Peking and Shanghai University, and hosts a Confucius Institute in partnership with Dalian Polytechnic University. This trend culminated in the I Forum of Higher Education Institutions from Belarus and China, held in Minsk in November 2023, where the China-Belarus University Association was formed, comprising over 80 institutions. The growing popularity of centers for Chinese language and culture enables students to master the language and immerse themselves in its rich culture. Additionally, despite cultural differences, effective intercultural communication is possible through shared understanding and a willingness to learn. Lastly, economic collaboration has thrived, with bilateral trade reaching $8.443 billion in 2023, prompting both nations to declare 2024–2025 as Years of Cooperation in science, technology, and innovation.ru
