Immunotherapeutic vaccines are used as a support to cytotoxic chemotherapy in cancer treatment. Live bacterial vaccines based on Salmonella seem to be promising candidate for the vaccine development due to characteristics of these bacteria. Here a construction of the Salmonella strains expressing fusions of type III secretion system effector and tumor-associated antigen is discussed.
