Abstract
Градостроительство Ирана - малоизученное явление мировой истории зодчества. Особую важность приобретают исследования, основанные на ранее неизвестных или специально не анализировавшихся научных документах. В статье приводятся разработанная система типологий городских поселений по различным признакам, обнаруженные принципиальные особенности планировочной организации Исфахана выявленные структурные оси городского значении, территории общественного центра и планировочных районов.

The town-building of Iran is a little known phenomenon of the world architecture history. The researches based on scientific documents that formerly were not discovered or not specially analyzed acquire a great importance. This article contains an elaborated system of typologies concerning a different indications of the cities, the detected principal peculiarities of Isfahan plan structure. Among them there are the revealed axes of a whole structure meaning, the territories for public centre and various city districts.
