| dc.description.abstract | Приведен яркий пример терминологической путаницы, связанной с наименованием свойства научных документов, преимущественно отображаемого фактом их цитируемости, а также безразличия науко-(библио-)метристов к вопросу об этом свойстве (при озабоченности «совершенствованием индикаторов», отображающих неназванное ими свойство). Дан конспективный критический анализ существующих в библиотековедении определения «ценности документа». Высказывается мнение, что путаница с понятием «ценность научного документа» может быть связана с невольным смешением этого понятия с понятием «ценность библиотечного фонда» подобно тому, как путаница с понятием «использование документа» связана с невольным смешением его с традиционной библиотечной концепцией «использования фонда». Предпринимается попытка уточнения понятия и содержания термина «ценность научного документа». В приложении максимально кратко рассматривается проблема рассмотрения в данном контексте философского понятия ценности. | ru |

| local.description.annotation | A striking example of terminological confusion related to the designations of the property of scientific documents displayed par eхellence by the fact of their citation, as well as to the indifference of sciento- (biblio-)metricians to the problem of nature of this property (alongside with paradoxical concern about the “improvement of indicators” of this very property) is presented. A brief critical analysis of the definitions of “document value” circulating in library science is given. The opinion is expressed that a certain misunderstanding of the concept of “the value of a scientific document” may be associated with the involuntary confusion of this concept with the concept of “the value of the library stock”, similarly to the way in which a certain misunderstanding of the concept of "the use of a document" is due to its involuntary confusion with the traditional library concept of "the use of the library stock". An attempt is made to clarify the concept and
content of the term "value of a scientific document". The appendix is given that deals as briefly as possible with the problem of considering the philosophical concept of value in this context. | ru |
