Abstract
В существующей практике при выборе проводников кабельных линий промышленных предприятий с целью экономии стремятся к выбору наименьшего по сечению жил кабеля. В данной работе отображена оценка экономичности такого выбора; произведено сравнение затрат на тепловые потери минимально требуемого сечения и двух последующих значений из номинального ряда; определено, что для экономичного выбора могут потребоваться дополнительные технико-экономические расчеты.

In the current practice, when choosing conductors of cable lines of industrial enterprises, in order to save money, they tend to choose the smallest cable core in cross-section. This paper shows an assessment of the cost-effectiveness of such a choice. A comparison of the costs of heat losses of the minimum required cross-section and two subsequent values from the nominal series is made. It is determined that additional technical and economic calculations may be required for an economical choice.
