The increase in population and the increased level of urban development dictate new rules for the design of the park landscape. If earlier nature and the city were opposable concepts, and the park was a site of artificially created nature in the city, today the garden and park complex declares itself as an integral part of the modern urban environment [1].The benefits of urban parks are not only in aesthetics that bring pleasure to city residents, but also in the preservation of natural ecosystems, the improvement of the urban population through physical activity within the park area, cultural education and economic development of infrastructure. These multifunctional complexes combine utilitarian and aesthetic functions, while remaining one with the surrounding urban landscape [2].The purpose of the work is to develop a design concept of a modern recreation park with multifunctional properties, using the example of the Mazurino Park.
